I'm ashasmed of myself >_< I began this back in April. Yes, in freakin April! And it even was a request! *hits myself*
Anyways, aerinsol requested our loved G1 minibots in one picture. It wasn't really easy, fitting them all in one drawing, but I like to think I did okay. The lineart was something I did on my tablet PC (which is no longer mine, unfortunately) and the color was what really killed me.
I'm not really a champ to color, and I tried three different coloring style before settling with the one now. Still not overly happy with it, I have to admit...
Escpecially not the background.
Anyways, from left to rigth, it's Gears, Huffer, Brawn, Cliffjumper, Windcharger and Bumblebee.
Cliffjumper doesn't looked happpy XD
And I actutally really enjoyed drawing Huffer. It was fun.

Yep. And another great song to go with this could be "We Are Not Alone" from the Breakfast Club soundtrack. Interestingly, one of the actors from that movie, particularly Judd Nelson, is the same person who did the voice of Rodimus Prime for the 1986 Transformers movie that came out a year later.

did i mention how much i love this pic?
i adore all the minibots, i really do. They're all so huggable and cuddly! (yes even Gears and Huffer deserves hugs!)
i've always viewed them as very social and they tend to clump together in groups, with the sort of protecting and watching out for each other sort of mentality.
i like the at ease atmosphere you've given them, how even gears gets along easier with his fellow minibots around. i adore bee's laughing face and i can just hear cliffjumper's voice mumbling and grumbling over something the Twins have done.

I'm very glad you enjoy the picture (it was you who I drew it to to begin with) and happy that you like Gears too, because he was honestly the toughest to fit in XD I can tell you, for a time I was afraid it would look like Huffer was about to dump the contents of that energon cube on Gears head XD
