One of the possible reasons that I planned to use it for is for a use of an avatar picture. Other reasons are for use as a spray in Source games (such as Left 4 Dead series). I currently do not know any other reasons as I have not thought of them but regardless, you will be credited upon any kind of use.

Well uh, I'm using this as my avatar on DA right now. You're free to use this image as an avatar on any site OTHER than DA.
You can also use it for your source games.

I really don't think this deserves as much attention as it got though. I can name two or three people here on DA, you and that guy (VentuFJ in the post above us) included, who make stuff that deserves more attention but don't get it.

Yeah man. I am a bit confused how that's a promotional video for Prometheus though, it didn't seem to have the same tone as the trailer we saw. It could be that I still have no idea what the movie is about yet either haha.
