Description Title chosen by kach-back.deviantart.com/ and its his birthday today so Happy Birthday dear Warren!!

First layer in watercolors, finishing touches in color pencils.
Size is 5x7 inches (quite small i know..) and the inspiration came from the most amazing gallery of Marta Bevacqua

PS the funny part here is that i was actually aiming to some subtlety lol... yeah... right.

First of all thank you for the birthday wishes. I spent the day with my three daughters and it was very nice. They even let me cook a wonderful birthday dinner for them.

This is an amazing piece of work, and I think there is some wonderful subtlety here in the deepness of the blended tones. There is of course boldness from the "Fire" but the coolness of the face and the hair offset that perfectly. I can really get lost in all of the beautiful blending of colours and tones in this piece.Β
