Description
TK groaned and blinked blearily...fuzzy eyes at first turning the scene around her into a murky sea of blurry yellow-white blobs, the light from the somehow-too-bright florescent tubes overhead overwhelming the muzzy young tigress' vision for the first few moments. She groaned again, and noticed how muffled the sound seemed...the way it seemed to flow back into her lips and up into her skull...an all-too-familiar feeling...though admittedly this time there was an air of sheer indomitability to the sensation that sent an instinctive spear of alarm shooting up into her drug-muzzy brain. The willful tiger-girl fought to keep her chin off her chest, to force her eyes to focus...to drag coherence out of the murk that seemed to fill her head. Remembrance, she groggily rued, would have to wait. And as her will and her body's resilient constitution worked their potent magic, and things began to return to some semblance of coherence, TK felt just a heartbeat's worth of regret for fighting so hard for the revelation. There was certainly nothing encouraging in it...
With a startled, still-weakened jerk, TK discovered that she was wrapped and strapped very tightly into a thick, black leather straitjacket. The rich smell of heavily oiled leather flooded her nostrils...the only place they could flood, her mouth completely sealed by a cruel leather muzzle, which pinned her mouth shut, and covered it over with a thick pad. The indignity of having been silenced with such a device roiled in her heart like a cancer...bringing with it a sense of anger at whoever had done this to her, and helping to speed her still-dawning return to full awareness. Even still, she'd have gotten up and tried to get away right then and there...save for the heavy wooden stocks, bracketed in metal, which were locked firmly around her ankles. And, she discovered, with a fierce-if-enfeebled kick against them, affixed rock-solidly to the floor, as well. Seated on the bare concrete below and slumped against the wall which was very near her back, there was no way for the tiger-girl to bend her knees at all...her legs were pinned and locked-out out straight before her...
"Nnnn-mumph...rrrrngh..." TK growled fuzzily, shaking her head slowly as she tried to clear the lingering cobwebs that seemed to fill her skull, heart pounding with the discovery of her shocking - and disheartening - predicament. Memory of how she'd come to be here seemed to slip away from her grasp with an almost malicious, teasing tenacity... She groaned again, furrowing her brow with the effort to recall what she'd been doing last...only the realization that she'd been at home, enjoying a rare chance to relax and kick back... And then her head snapped up toward a voice which suddenly rang out across the dank, if-overlit, basement space. "Awake, are we? Good...you've kept me waiting so long..."
