Thank you. What's the difference between a critique and a comment? I don't feel qualified to write a critique. It sounds formal and educated. And I don't really know anything about art or photography. I just like looking at pictures and messing around with them. I enjoy leaving comments on picture I like and suggestions for ideas.

Without knowing art (so-called) you're doing pretty well. In writing critiques there are some points to be considered. Your way of writing comment sounds for me that it is like critique since you point details in a perfect way. I understand you want to have the freedom of writing informal comments. Keep going; you're doing it perfectly! But making it as critique will be good since you're almost there but just a few procedure of how to write critique is needed, I guess.

Thank you for the encouragement and thoughtful words. Maybe I'll get brave and click on the "critique" button someday soon. I like being specific in details. Saying, "That's so cool!" is nice, but really vague. I try to articulate exactly what it is I like about a specific photo because it's a fun exercise my own personal ability to use descriptive words, and occasional imagery. Plus, I'm generally wordy and opinionated in general. The biggest issue I have with giving a critique is the prospect of saying something negative about someone else's art. I love highlighting the good because that's generally what I see. Writing a critique would force me to step outside my comfort zone, so it's actually a really good idea. You can't grow if you never leave your comfort zone. Thank you for the excellent suggestion.

Looking forward of your critiques.. But there is one general wrong attitude: actually I would like to be warned in my mistakes in my photographs (thanks that some of my friends are warning me when they see something bad like not sharp photo, overall darkness in the photo,.. ). The critiques can also point to deficiencies in the photo so that I can improve myself. You can be free of hard-criticizing on my photos, take in mind please.
