Street Fight Vengeance - Ryu Redesign! — Description
Okay folks, here is another redesign of a character for my JJBA/SF crossover, this time it's a redesign of a Street Fighter character, and who else could I do but the 'World Warrior' himself, the hero and champion of the Street Fighter Tournament, RYU HOSHI! Yeah, for those of you who don't know, Ryu's last name is Hoshi, it was revealed in the first live-action Street Fighter movie, the one with Jean-Claude Van Damme.

In the story, Ryu is in Japan, contemplating what to do about the Satsui no Hadou inside him, and he looks back on his memories with Gouken and his best friend, Ken Masters. He is then met by Chun-Li, who tells him about the next Street Fighter Tournament, Ryu knows he has to defend his title someday and he is also informed about the revival of the vampire Dio Brando at the hands of Shadaloo. He agrees to help Chun-Li, Col. Guile and their new allies, Joey Kenjo, Jotaro Kujo, Josuke Higashikata, Koichi Hirose and Joey Kenjo against them. He teaches Koichi how to use the Hadouken and if they're going into
the tournament, they will need the help of not only Ken Masters, but also Sakura Kasugano, the girl who looks up to Ryu.

When Joey meets Sakura, his friend, Kai tries to flirt with her, but she whacks him, guessing that he can't win them all. And Sakura also bonds with the Dennyburgess sisters, Diana and Carol. When they stop in France, Ryu forms a bond with Jean Pierre Polnareff and he sees how desperate he is about getting a girlfriend. Ryu explains that the relationship he has with Sakura is a brother/sister kind of bond and Joey admires that. When Eliza told them she is entering the tournament, it leaves Ken stunned to hear that his wife is in it now. She does her best to follow the code of the Street Fighter; Discipline, Justice, Commitment, and does some training with Sakura, Chun-Li, Yukako and Diana. Ryu is impressed by the progess Eliza made, and Ken agrees with him on it.

When they arrive in Venice, Italy, they run into Giorno Giovanna and his group from the Passione who tell them about the canals filling with tar for the last month and that a mob boss in Venice is behind it, but they have no evidence linking him to it, so the Passione is willing to working alongside Interpol, to which Chun-Li agrees. The then tackle the situation in a more 'head-on' fashion, first they sneak into the mobster's opera house mansion and then get some photos of the mobster connected to the tar and Ryu tells Joey about Akuma and how he feels as though he might return. Joey encourages Ryu to defeat Akuma no matter what.

I based the outfit on the one he normally wears, while giving him some foot gear, and new gloves that are inspired by Jin Kazama from Tekken. And I made two versions of his head design, so in the story, I'm going with option 2 where his hair is groomed. And the red arm bands are a reference to Pegasus Seiya from Saint Seiya/Knights Of The Zodiac.
