Moon Knight -- 90s armor — Description
The 1990s weren't just weird for the Fantastic Four. There were a ton of super weird trends that ran through super hero comics: counter-intuitively killing off lead characters to boost sales, giving everyone mullets, clones, eyecatchingly terrible art, etc.⁣

One odd fashion-based superhero trend no one wanted? Giving everyone "armor." Like, especially acrobatic characters more at home leaping between rooftops, not lumbering around in metal suits of armor.⁣ Them.

Case in point: poor Moon Knight here. He was living his best life, being a normal superhero (well, being a Batman rip-off at the time, really he was living Bruce Wayne's best life, but I digress...) and out of nowhere he gets ill. Specifically he contracts a weird demon virus. From a random demon, from a random Spider-Man comic, from a random X-Men crossover. Crap. 90s comics were confusing...⁣

Anyway, he was now rotting away. Hero career over, right? Wrong! He's super rich. He buys a suit of armor. Made of adamantium. That's right...the same rare metal Wolverine's unbreakable bones are coated in. Millionaires, am I right?⁣

Being rich doesn't make you smart, though. Because he's totally ignoring the fact that if you put a fragile egg in a metal box and shake it, the egg still breaks. Oh, well. At least he's extremely shiny, right?⁣
