Ehh, Those two are pretty much dead if they're THAT close to a Black Hole. Yeah I know Black Holes in fiction aren't usually as deadly as ones in real life, but I just can't help but imagine the two drawn very forcefully into the hole and pulverized into atoms by the sheer amount of gravitational force it has.
