Winter and Summer Conflict...#January Conference — Description

The Winter Forces' domain was reeling from the devastation caused by months of relentless rainfall, resulting in severe flooding and widespread food shortages.
Adding to the calamity, the world’s largest volcano, located in Januaryland, had erupted just a few days prior.
This eruption seemed to have triggered a wave of earthquakes, which were now striking various nations within the Winter Forces' domain.
In Januaryland, an ongoing conflict with the Anti-March Regime had left its citizens exhausted, further exacerbating the food crisis.
With the Winter Forces' domain on the brink of collapse, their fate now rested in the hands of Princess Kisaragi, the sovereign of Februaryland and the region's central pillar.
To resolve the conflict, the Emperor of the January Dynasty and Princess Kisaragi convened for discussions.
As part of the proposed peace agreement, they firmly rejected the Anti-March Regime’s demand to hand over their leaders.
This decision, however, meant that the conflict with the Anti-March Regime would see no resolution.
Given Januaryland’s lack of a standing army, it was decided that a military alliance would be forged with Februaryland.
One of the key leaders of The Resolute Circle, Taroduki, had an audience with the Emperor of Januaryland.
In that meeting, a tripartite conference was held, with Princess Kisaragi joining the discussions.
Taroduki was deemed a "high-priority target" by the Anti-March Regime.
The Emperor and Princess Kisaragi advised him to flee the country, with the condition that he provide support to Princess Yayoi of Marchland.
Taroduki voiced his dissatisfaction.
"I am a citizen of Januaryland.
I fought for the people of this country.
If it is my lord, the Emperor's, command, then I will obey...
But why?
Why must I take on the role of supporting the princess of Marchland?"
It was clear to him that this idea had come from Kisaragi, the Princess of Februaryland.
He didn’t like it... not one bit.
"…Let me think about it"
Taroduki stood abruptly, his piercing gaze fixed on Princess Kisaragi, before leaving the room.
Kisaragi let out a deep sigh…
It was a moment that revealed the exhaustion and anguish she carried from her tireless efforts in navigating this crisis.
A Harmonious World.
冬の勢力圏は、数ヶ月の長雨による洪水被害、それに伴う食糧難。
さらに、数日前には世界最大とされる一月国の火山が噴火した。
この噴火の関連か、勢力圏の国々では地震が頻発していた。
一月国は反三月政権との紛争で、民は疲弊し、食糧難に拍車をかけている。
崩壊を始めている冬の勢力圏、今やその運命は、勢力圏の主軸国である二月国皇妃、如月に託されていた。
紛争解決の為、一月王朝皇王と如月は協議した。
和平案として、反三月政権が要求してきた、指導者の引き渡しには応じることはない。
すなわち、それは反三月政権との争いは解決を見ないことを意味していた。
軍を持たない一月国は、二月国と軍事同盟を結ぶ運びとなった。
一月国防衛の要となった、”民の決起衆”指導者のひとり、太郎月は皇王に謁見した。
その場で、如月姫を交えて、三者会議を行う。
太郎月は、反三月政権側からは”最重要人”として狙われている。
皇王と如月は、彼に国外脱出、その要件として、三月姫の援護を勧めた。
太郎月は不服を示した。
俺は一月の民だ。
一月の国の為に戦った。
主君である、皇王の命とあれば従うさ…
しかし何故？
三月国の姫の援護役なんかを引き受けなければならないのか…
そしてそれは、二月国の皇妃、如月が案じたのは明らかだ。
気に入らねぇ…
「しばらく考えさせてくれ…」
太郎月は、如月を鋭く睨みながら、席を立った。
如月は深い溜息をついた…
それはこの危機に奔走する、彼女の疲労と苦悩を滲ませた瞬間だった。
