THIS VERSION IS OLD, IT DOESN'T WORK WITH THE NEWEST RAYCAST VERSION, NOT GOING TO WORK. OLD, OOOLDIf you still have 1. 0. 7 this still can help you, but not with the updated version!

My raycast either loads forever or causes my MMD to not respond, making me have to close it down

This is late but Raycast Shader is a very powerful shader, which uses a lot of CPU and graphics. If you don't have a good computer or a computer that can handle that much CPU being used then you sadly won't be able to use Raycast.

Polish Shader? I've never used Polish Shader so I honestly wouldn't know. All I know is Raycast Shader is a shader that is supposed to make everything more realistic and using it eats away at CPU because it is that strong...unless you have a high-end computer.

Polish Shader is another... well... shader xP that is also very powerful and render everything realistic but in a dark way, you know... night time or things like that xP

If you're asking about transparent parts on a model or stage while using Raycast then...Raycast doesn't work well with alpha or transparency parts.

Don't give up. You probably have the old version of the mmd, or dont have miku miku effects. You have to dl mme to make this effect work properly

When I use Raycast, the back of her eyes are always dark and I don't know why everyone else's seems to be a normal white color. I'm probably being dumb on this but could you help?

What version did you download? Because this tutorial is old, the version requiered for this tutorial to work is 1.0.7 The updated versions sadly don't work

first, you have to load skybox file in the model
then, load the ray.x file at the effects tab
and there u have it
