I only used the default brushes in Photoshop with the mentioned brush opacities in the tutorial there. I generally use a soft brush for the glow itself.Glow is a strength of mine, so I hope this helped! >w< I don't care what I'm drawing glow for, it's so dang fun!!!

I love drawing glowy stuff too but I've noticed when it comes to drawing glowy eyes, I struggle

what do u use for glow is it a tool or something because that's what seems to come up when I search for stuff. mind you im using OC 6 so u might not be able to help. is glow just another layer of color. sry if I don't followΒ butΒ are those each layers with different opacitiesΒ Β

Oh, I'm sorry. I should have mentioned that.
I don't use any fancy tools at all, actually. For the glow effect, I just use a generic soft brush with a low opacity. You can put the glow on another layer of you want to, but you don't have to. No, no, the opacity is for the brush. did that clear things up a bit?
