Meanwhile, this is a little something I sketched in school the other day because I had been playing poker with some friends at lunch. Basically, Marshall conned Fionna into playing strip poker on game night and Fionna is losing. Badly. What's happened here is that Fionna made a deal with Marshall-lee after she lost her bra that if she lost five hands in a row, instead of taking off her panties, he'd get to touch her butt.
(Actually, Marshall is terrible at poker, but he rigged the deck. Duh. They're playing five star)

well, I didn't paint it at school, but i did the paper sketch during Maths. My teacher wouldn't notice if I walked up to the board and drew a giant pair of boobs. Seriously, she's so unobservant, i hardly do anything in maths.

I don't mind at all. I'm in year 11 or fifth form, and I'm fourteen. I don't really have any issues with telling people who know me how old I am.
this actually started out as a gesture sketch just to practice some anatomy, bu then i threw Marshall into the background and it turned into this. I try to do a couple of gestures, mostly focusing on improving my perspective as well as general anatomy every week.

well, it's split up into primary, middle and secondary school. technically primary is years one to six ( So from 4-5 to 10-11 depending on when your birthday is) middle is years seven to ten and secondary is years eleven to thirteen. the American schooling system technically finishes at our equivalent year twelve. However, that's only according to my dad, so don't quote me on that.
however, not all school are divided as such. some primaries only go up to year six, but most ( including my old one) went up to year eight, or basically the start of teenagery-ness. some middle schools only cover two years ( either 7-8 or 9-10) but some cover all four. and alot of secondary school cover years nine to ten as well as eleven, twelve and thirteen. Our national exam standard, NZQA, only tests secondary school students, and level three (year 13) is a required university entrance standard.
yeah, I'm fourteen. A lot of people say I look and act much older, which kind of makes me a little sad for my generation. are we really all so childish? anyway, I want my career to revolve around art, so I started getting really serious about it when I was eleven and my grandad gifted me an anatomy textbook for my birthday. My drawing and sketching skills I'm pretty happy with ( though i can't turn out quick roughs for the life of me, they always looks shit) but I need to get much better with the technical stuff and painting.
oh, I know about embarrassing drawings, trust me. Some of my old stuff just.... No.

oh trust me, that's not the case. When I was a life guard, running around on the beach all day and swimming, I got so tan. I was never just lying in the sun though, but I still turned like a pale chocolate colour XD
