Mega Man - The Elf Wars — Description
Well, for those that watch me I apologize for not updating that much lately. Mainly it's cause I've been busy. Had a job of filling in for someone around here while they were gone for the day, brother staying here for a while after that shack he and his friend were living in burned down, and mainly it's cause I've been working on THIS picture. I have not put this much effort into doing a digital piece in quite a while.

Now I don't know how many people that watch me, if any of you, are familiar with Mega Man or not, but over the course of the franchise it goes ridiculous lengths into the future. Goes like this. Mega Man - Mega Man X - Mega Man Zero - Mega Man ZX - Mega Man Legends. Between each series there's a significant amount of years, centuries sometimes, that go unshown and are only talked about.

Now while I will always want to know about what happened more between the original Mega Man and X, there's a lot more to make an actual picture of for the time frame between X and Zero. Obviously it's the Elf Wars which end up killing off 60% of all Humans and 90% of all Reploids on Earth to set up for the events in Zero.

For Dr. Weil back there I tried to get down what he looked like when his hair's down in his final form for the boss battle on Ragnarok, but they never show the back of his head so I had to improvise some. His clothing is actually the clothing you can see his middle aged self wearing in the concept art of the Mega Man Zero Complete Works book.

As for X and Zero I know that the official explanation as to why they look different in Zero is because of the change in art style, but I felt I might give more of an explanation myself with having their Zero forms being their bodies beneath their armor.

Oh yeah, Axl's there, almost completely forgot about him with Omega towering over him in the background. Yeah, I know Axl wasn't even considered when they were making Zero, but I felt I'd throw him in there to tie things together. Is one of the main three later on after all. There he's obviously succumbing to the infection that Lumine placed in him at the end of X8 and will probably lead to X and Zero having to kill him to end the Maverick Wars before the Elf Wars start.

But...yeah...just some Mega Man art I whipped up in my absence on here o.o hope it turned out okay ^_^
