I did ye olde Simpsons meme. I'm so proud of myself!!
There isn't even a link to the original; the user deactivated long ago.
Anyways, this was fun to do.
No one ever did one for Melvin, so I decided that would have to be me. ^^I did half this meme freehand in AI, and half drawn and inked on paper, and you can totally tell!

True; I couldn't help make a joke like that, since Mel goes around town in almost nothing anyway.
I noticed that too. Even in one episode set during the winter, he's in his grass skirt outfit. And I have to wonder if he ever gets cold??

I've noticed he wears his grass skirt outfit a lot in the early seasons. But in later seasons I notice the animators model other clothes for him. Though, the chance that he'll be wearing the grass skirt in public is still 50/50.

It would definitely make him look more like a Springfield citizen, and make him stand out less. (Well, the bone hair still makes him stand out, but you know what I mean.
