Hi there! I get a lot of questions everytime when I post a photo with bear Styopa. Yes, he's alive, his not drugged, his not abused, not any cruelty. He was born in zoo and was taken by enthusiasts and professional trainers when his mother abandoned him. Photo sessions with Styopa is strictly regulated, no more than 20-30 minutes, he is treated very carefully and with love. Styopa's owners are published posts and everyone can make sure that his contains in good conditions and his rights are not violated. Photo shooting are needed to pay for the maintenance and food for animals. Styopa 24 y.o he never lived in the wild and release his into the wild nature is impossible.

I'd love to give him a hug. The bear cub I posed with earlier this year was a tad too focused on the strawberry jam and was getting it everywhere. The little bugger's fur was bristlier than a sweeping broom. O_o

every photo from this shoot reminds me of Richard Adams "Shardik" and how the final act of possibly the last cave bear ever was, in that story, enacting diving revenge on the murderers of a young child.
