These are the syringes used for cancerous children in my mom's hospital. She sees children die. Children that she talks to. Children that she sees everyday..Chemotherapy isn't the most pleasant feeling. Remember to be thankful for what you have and take a stand in supporting those sick children who you never thought of, until now.

This is quite touching, especially since I will be going under testing for Acute Lymphblastic Leukemia most likely. I've known that chemo is not the best thing, as my aunt had stage five breast cancer, that moved to her brain as well. She is doing better, though, cancer free and free of that bloody treatment. c:

My brother had Osteosarcoma as a teenager. In his leg. Cancer sucks, but Chemotherapy can feel worse. :/

Yeah, he is. It's been ten years. He has a metal femur, and a huge scar, and he's in pain all the time, but the cancer's gone, he's married, and he has a kid. ^^ So the chemo didn't sterilize him, which is good, owo.

The lighting makes the picture so striking....
It really does make you thankful for good health. It's terrible to think of what some children have to go through at such young ages. One of my teachers daughters was just diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 5... it's absolutely heartbreaking.

Thanks for another great photo. It is quite poignant for me as, currently, one of my best friend's 7 year old granddaughter (Robyn Higgins) is fighting Neuroblastoma - a particularly aggressive form of childhood cancer. She has had all the treatment there is to have here in England, so they have raised money to travel to America for a final treatment, and that is where they are now. Wow. Just wow. I want to thank you for making and sharing this. This photograph is both moving and powerful. This beautiful piece strikes up intense emotion, sadness, loneliness, pain, and fear. The angle and lighting used is so perfect, making the concept very well conveyed. This is beautiful, horribly beautiful. Cancer does kill, and that is horrible. May there be a better way in stopping it someday.

Wow. Amazing picture.
I don't have cancer, but I have to go to an oncology center to get IV meds for Rheumatoid Arthritis. That alone is unpleasant. I can't imagine how hard it must be to go through chemotherapy. Some of the patients I've met there are so strong and positive. They're amazing.

It has the lure of an apocalyptic fantasy without the maimed bodies and broken buildings.In other words I feel awed and doomed at the same time. Have you ever done blood splatter photos? I'm looking to get some as prints I find them fascinating.

yea i think i know what youre saying. i havent done any blood splatters. but i know that does a lot of blood and horror ^_^ he does a great job. I'm hoping to include more horror and bizzare photography in my gallery soon.
