Lopercloiríge i Létehién(The Chronicle from Letehien)

In this work I wanted to illustrate something that was described in one of my journals as "the love to mythologize the reality". I invented a story of a mythical city called Létehién which is visible only in the golden light of the rising moon (between the second and the fifth day after the full moon), when it appears on the eastern horizon. In fact, the city-dwellers were the first who named the rising moon 'Létechién' and celebrated the event of moonrise with festival of joy and music. From that name (which changes as the moon ascends) the inhabitants of the Earth took the name of the city.
The city-dwellers know a lot of stories and fairytales which refer to various mythical lunar phenomena. Here, only some of them are mentioned and put in the shape of the sky-map. But there are few who can read in the language of Mohén.

Hm, ta jeszcze nie była taka pracochłonna i powstawała wręcz pod presją nadciągającego terminu. Ale później (i w tym roku) przekonałem się, że to w jakiś niezwykły sposób pracy korzystnie służy.

hmm właśnie także od jakiegoś czasu myślę nad zrobieniem kolażu . chciałabym popracować ręcznie, nie tylko na komputerze,bo trochę nudzi mi się robienie tego samego w kółko, przez co moje prace mogą wydawać się nieco niedokończone :/ oczywiście gdy już się zabieram za coś, nie potrafię się skupić a już pewnie takie zawijaski to zrobiłabym po milionie lat 
kiedyś rysowałam krainę Rivendell i nawet ładnie wyszła ale wtedy się spięłam i stwierdziłam, iż muszę dokończyć :]

Dawniej dużo malowałem olejem na płótnie i były to raczej impresjonistyczne krajobrazy (tak, że Rivendell to świetna rzecz na początek

mam nadzieje ze takie dziubdzianie pomoze mi w przyszlosci, bo wybieram sie na architekture. tzn troche sie poznio obudzilam z tym zamiarem i musze duzo nadrobic. pierwszy rysunek nawet nie tak zle mi wyszedl i wszyscy byli zaskoczeni

Wspaniały przykład, jak nieodwzorowywanie rzeczywistości staje się podstawą kreacji. To, co skończone - księżyce, gwiazdy...- poprzez schematyczne bądź symboliczne ujęcie zamienia się element całości pozaskończonej. Wspaniała rzecz niekiedy, ten schemat. To on sprawia, że nocne sklepienie w naszej wyobraźni jest piękniejsze, ultramarynowe. Bardzo mi się to podoba, że niebo w "Lopercloirige..." jest żywe, wyimaginowanie i jednocześnie nie ociera sie o kicz. Masz być może filozofię podobną do Gaugina, który do pewnego artysty rzekł: "jak pan widzi to drzewo? Jest ono bardzo zielone. Niech pan weźmie po prostu zieleń, najpiękniejszą zieleń na pańskiej palecie; a cień tego drzewa, czyż nie jest niebieski? Niech się pan nie boi namalować go tak bardzo niebiesko jak to jest tylko możliwe". Ale nie tylko kolor jest tu powodem istnienia obrazu. Inkaustowe zapiski-ornamenty ze złotych kart wychodzą naprzeciw przestrzeni, ze słów ewoluują jakby w czyn jarząc się, gdy spojrzeć pod odpowiednim kątem. W dolnej części obrazu może o nieco zbyt topornej linii, ale za to dynamiczniejsze przez niespokojne wygięcie w lewo. Kształt płyty, jaki się zarysowywuje jest intrygujący, obiecuje symetrię, ale ma też w zanadrzu lekką diagonalność i barwne bonusy - powstaje napięcie, super

Dziękuje za twórczy komentarz i nominację do oscara! Jako stronica kroniki lub innej historyczno-naukowej literatury została sporządzona na nieco ikoniczną modłę, schemat był więc rzeczywiście zatrudniony na pełny etat, ale pozwoliłem mu na odrobinę laby.
