he certaintly doesn't look threatening....i think it's because of the head. Sloth doesn't come to mind, he doens't look like he'd be slow with those gigantic powerful legs; something like a cross between a human and a rabbit. Good job, thought. Did you sketch this out, scan it, then color it on the computer?
