Window washers make a good amount of money, at least they do here in Canada. My friend was thinking of this occupation and did some research to find they generally make $18 dollars/hour at least as a STARTING wage. Damn... makes me wish I wasn't afraid of heights.

That's the whole point. These people hang from ropes & bungee cords so money hoarding sheep can enjoy the view of their competetor's building. This shot is genius because it captures the essence of the lengths the working class goes through to put food on the table. Most people wouldn't take $5mil to wash a skyscraper's windows. Especially when it's windy.
