like, isn't the ratio typically slightly more females? I always figured it was how species stayed plentiful considering during mating season there were so many pregnant females giving birth to litters of young'uns, so even if a few don't make it, there are hundreds more anyway, so no problem. I guess pokemon doesn't need to follow the same logic, so the ratio is vastly different
