Description
I found out one day that sharpening pencils is a very relaxing activity, so I sharpened about a hundred of my prismacolors onto a plate. I loved how colorful it became, so I decided to snap a picture of the lovely rainbow.I believe this also works well with biweekly topic 'colored pencils.' :3
Title given to me by the brilliant ~pessoadapaz , for it can be interpreted in two ways. Duality~

They are expensive, but these are the remains of about 60 pencils that needeed sharpening, so it's not much off each pencil. ^^ Thank you though~

After I have withered and only remains are left behind, the flowers on my grave shall show the world my life's radiance on the pallet of their petals with my tomb as the canvas. sorry it popped into my head when looking at this because they are remains and still beautiful

O____O How do you do that?! That was like, the most poetic thing I've ever heard, and it just 'popped into your head' like nothing! You're a freakin prodigy.

This seems really creative to me. I've seen pictures of colored pencils themselves before, but never of the shavings like that.
I think the thin strips of the pencils really make this interesting to me. They're a good kaleidoscope-looking background/texture.

Aww, thanks a lot! I kinda thought so too ... kaleidoscope colors and such. I feel a little silly saying this, but I was actually sad when I had to throw the plate of shavings away (my friends and I kept tripping over it and making new messes to clean up XD).

nothing like a freshly sharpened pencil to create another masterpiece.
Or in this case, sharpening a LOT of them.

I never smell the sharpened pencils. When my allergies act up, my sense of smell is gone.

*raises eyebrow* Urm ... it did it automatically then ... I took this way before you told me that (and I still need to play around with my camera to see how I change it), but thank you for the praise that doesn't apply to me anyway!
