And yes, that was intentional. It's one of the features of the species, all the sub species have ears that shape, and similar tails (and at least two big claws)

Treori.... you are making me feel like I don't have any imnagination atm XD I am stunned by your work... I think I need google to copy some nature and other artists images by drawing on a layer on top of them and having lowerd opacity on the drawings / images XD

Everyone has imagination. Its learning how to see with your minds eye.

This species is a spin off of my other one.... which is a cross between a wolf, and a raptor.

And there is a third one, which is more feline, and this one, which is more lamb/deer like.

brilliant XD I do have my moments... but the ideas come by luck or pure genius XD anyways... i never think when i come up with the really smart / good ideas... XD i wonder if i will ever be as good as the best artist... i think i am gonna work for some years XD

yeah, i am probably better than the ones just stared, but i am not that fast worker... XD i think that all artists have their own things they do the best, but i don't really have anything yet XD

and besides there are artists that are called the best but maybe isn't according to themselves

I wasnt either. Until I started taking regular commissions, and I draw every single day now. To be honest I should be practising techniques to improve what I do instead XD

I can now produce a single piece of art, plus a small background like Idris' in 5 hours. Right now, Im trying to get a nicer shading technique though

To be fair, I work at 6h for one set art piece with a gradient background XD haha and I should be doing more practising than what I do but if you and I draw everyday I am sure we are both to develop I mean I have found some tricks for shadows that I actually figured out myself rather than just searching it up XD but one thing is for sure.... google is very handy to practice with

I would draw something, and pick out all the bits I think need improvement (like paws) and then I will look up reference pictures and sketches LOADS.

Then I move to sketching without a reference, but once finished I then compared it to see what mistakes I made. Generally after that, you will know what mistake you are likely to make and you can correct it. But of course using ref pictures to refresh yourself every now and then helps. Especially if you prefer to err on the side of realism. If you have developed your own style though, then you won't need to do the last step

Well I kinda think that I need to work on paws and body somewhat, and that's what I really need to work with 

I think I am gonna see what I really need to improove more, I really wanna be able to draw realistic but I need to kinda change my style a littlebit >.< 

and the most fun part is sketching case it look filled and not empty like all my linearts do... I hate to have it looking like it's empty DX unfortunately I always have failed with my lineart looking better than my sketches. actually I think my sketches are so much better than the real piece at times XD 

You know I think I am gonna message you on ovi with this, then we can continue there instead of making more and more comments here XD
