Description One of the last Mark-IIIs, as well as one of the last nuclear Jaegers to be constructed, Brave Resistance is a French Jaeger initially deployed in a reserve role, before being redeployed to the European theatre in early 2024, which led to its eventual destruction. Brave Resistance is unique in that it has a quadruple-legged design, giving it significant stability and making it nigh-impossible to knock down. It also allows for some 'interesting' attack maneuvers, such as briefly resting on its hind legs and performing a 'horse kick' move, applying significant blunt force to any hit Kaiju.

To facilitate this unusual body structure, Brave Resistance's Conn Pod is shaped with one pilot behind the other, rather than side by side as in other Jaegers. The front pilot controls the front legs while the back pilot controls the back legs. Suffice to say, learning to walk in Brave Resistance takes a fair amount of time, as does fighting, as the four-legged platform means Brave Resistance isn't as maneuverable as some other Jaegers, but when it does get in a fight it is unlikely to lose its footing.

Four legs rather than two allows for the mounting of some serious firepower. Brave Resistance's fists are pneumatic, allowing it to perform 'sliding' punches where the fist will shoot out using hydraulics and built-up spring tension, increasing the power of its punches dramatically. Its chest cavity can also open to reveal a high-power Plasmacaster, a variant of the common weapon that sacrifices fire rate for dramatically-improved power. A single shot can remove a Kaiju's limb while cauterizing the wound in the process, making it effective even in dense urban environments. At close range, the weapon's power is only improved.

While in Europe, Brave Resistance was on a routine coastline patrol during another electric storm, when it picked up a strange energy reading some few dozen miles off coast. Maintaining contact with the European Shatterdome, the Jaeger moved to investigate. Contact was lost soon after they reached the location, followed shortly by the deployment of Hunter Oblivion and Knight Centurion, and their battle with the Category V 'Princess'. It is believed that Brave Resistance was quickly destroyed by Princess, although no wreckage was ever recovered (not to mention the pilots), leading to some more radical theories being created as to its demise.
