Description
I've been working on this, among other things, pretty intensely the past couple of weeks. It's all rather silly I suppose, but I had a lot of fun with it.It's actually just background artwork for the flap pages of the volume 1 book collection but I wanted to use that space to say a little something about the characters illustratively.
(The layout in print form will be different - more horizontal than vertical so that it spans two pages.)
It's a combination of pencil art, digital painting and utilizing old photos of my ancestors to create custom texture brushes for the antiquing effects.

Grats on the DD (a little late to mention). I noticed the names: Vasko, Viktor Ladislav and Elijah Metzger. It also seems that Mordecai has a Northeastern accent according to his wanted poster.

I was wondering, did you get inspiration for Zib and Mitzy's old band from the movie, "Some Like it Hot"? Also, I'm a really big fan of circuses, so I was wondering if we might see some more pictures of Rocky's time in the circus in the future?

Remember, Sugar Ray beat Jake LaMotta. Β Sugar Ray was quick and technically sound. Jake LaMotta was tough as iron and never stopped driving in. Β Viktor's big n' bad but he's gotta bad knees, no depth perception, and years of wear and tear. Β Nico's athletic, a boxer, and crazy. Β In a no holds barred fight, Viktor might just seize Nico and crush him. Β If Nico managed to close Viktor's eye, Viktor would be fighting, blind. Β It would be an interesting fight to watch.
