Description Hi,

I've had alot of people asking me how to do inset lines in C4D, so I threw together a quick 7 step tut.
There are other ways of doing this, and this is only the way I personally like to do this technique.

I hope it helps.

This is for cinema 4d 9+ version. But you can use 8.5 with the edge plug in.

That sphere in the bottom-right is a good example of what can be done with such a simple and effective method...You can imagine it would be very useful for those that make sci-fi stuff

Nice tut Ron, I just got time to attempt it. It was really easy to follow, but I was trying to select a loop of polygons in the vertical direction and it wouldn't let me only select that group. I already had some horizontal ones selected, and was zoomed in as much as I could without going through the sphere. When it would let me select it it would select some other polygons on the sphere that weren't even close, and for some reason it liked to select a circle at the top. O_o

I never knew about that V thing. Nice trick to have.
