Since this is my last art post for the year, I thought I'd put a little more into it- color, at least. This started out as just a challenge to draw things as "anti-Tom" as possible- you know, if I normally draw big pupils, I did them small. If I normally make smaller ankles, I made them chunky. That sort of thing. Its not a huge change, just small pushes to try new things. In the end, it feels like I was looking at Shane Glines' or Bill Presing's art, but I wasn't. Love those guys, so if I accidently drew one drawing like them, I'll take it!I like the idea of a comic about her telemarketing adventures, don't you?

That's an interesting exercise, taking certain aspects of your style and reversing them, as it were. The result here, although a bit different from your usual style, is just as appealing as your past works. Perhaps I should try out this exercise....
That said, I love the character and the idea! If you developed them further into a comic I'd definitely read it.

Love the drawing! I'm certainly on board for pushing ones boundaries. I find no matter how hard we push, we'll always look like ourselves, and I think thats a cool thing about being an artist. Kind of like a thumbprint. I hope you and your family have a great new years, Tom!

She is ADORABLE! I love how her ankles are chunky, it's a nice little part of the design. And that little ear piece is CUTE!! I would wear one.

Ha ha, this kinda weirded me out for a second when I first saw the title. It's not often I see someone give a character my name with the same spelling. Are you going to be doing more of these experiments in the new year? It's an interesting idea to try and draw something opposite of how you normally would, I'll have to look through my own sketches and start thinking about what features I keep repeating.
