Description I know, I'm late. Windows 7 died 1 week ago. I had some personal issues going on in my life that took me down quite an amount after the new year began... :\

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

January 14th, 2020, marks the end of support for Windows 7...

Windows 7, I had for most of my teenage years and well into adulthood. It... was quite a "breath of relief" when I got Windows 7. My computer that I had at the time was running Windows Vista, and it was horrible! I have some cold sweats just thinking about how awful Windows Vista was... General slowdowns, arbitrary errors and the frequent BSODs...

When I got Windows 7 in mid 2009 (Release Candidate version 1), I told my parents about it and I was destined to get Windows 7. Luckily, my computer that had Windows Vista on it was quite outdated. That summer, I built a new on with my dad. He and I installed Windows 7 on it and... WOW!!! What a step up from Windows Vista it was!!! :o (Eek)

I immediately fell in love with Windows 7. It was very similar to Windows Vista, in terms of the menus and so on. When I transitioned over, I was able to find my way around the control panel and other things on Windows 7 really easily. (Compared to when I went from Windows XP to Windows Vista in early 2008.)

Windows 7 will always be remembered by me for making my computer experience in the 2010s a very positive one. I will miss it's Windows Aero theme with the blurry glass and I will miss it's sleek design that it boasted over Windows XP's early 2000 appearance.

All good things must come to an end, and Windows 7, you have quite a good run. Take it easy.... you will not be forgotten. :( (Sad)

(I wanted to experiment with a few art styles I have been playing around with in the same image. I'm... not really sure how to feel with how it turned out. Maybe a bit more practice will do me good.)
