Natural Enemy — Description
From the sketchbook, ink and mixed coloured pencils. This bird catcher needs no tools: No bird that is smaller than her has the shadow of a chance of escaping the spring-heeled serval.

For those curious, this design is not even remotely period- or geographically appropriate. The bird cage is Japanese, the syrinx is a medieval European type, the thermos has a contemporary Tanzanian design, and the birds are from all over the place.
