have you ever heard of the manga karakuri doji ultima? cuz one of the first chapter pages looks alot like this. you should read the series and draw stuff like this more, it shows a really good side of your style :3

Agreed. I have a lot more control with the pencil when it comes to hair. I need to find a way to emulate that into my digital work.

*nods* it does come with practice thou so if you continually try out different styles of compy-coloring you'll find a way to make the hair look as good on the screen as it does on the paper.

I just set the layer the picture is in to multiply in Photoshop. Then I color under it.
