Obviously this is referring to the hot new dArama of the moment.Lets all go against the most basic thing on the interwebs! Links! It has a preview without me dictating that it is allowed to be there. OMG NOW WHAT DO I DO?

I happen to be a "real artist" and make use of watermarking and other means to give appropriate protection for my art.
I don't want views at I've had a couple of DD's I've got more then enough views.
I'm out for a good discussion and I friendly challenge you to argue about this with me and out reason my logic.
If you can do so then I will gladly take that up to the staff to try and convince them too.

They most certainly were successful. I tried the links and it works great and will be an awesome tool.

It won't remove the ability to do the same thing manually, nor is it any extra threat in any way.

You definitely can.
And you can use every single means of protection you can find or think of, but it won't help you.
On websites, anything that can be seen can be stolen. I mean, in the end, all the protection in the world won't help you from the print screen button on your keyboard wouldn't it? Hell if you manage to find something against that then you can theoretically even record the signal that your video card sends to your monitor.
Using software to protect something is one thing. But how are you going to disable physics?
