Light Infantry Rifle 50 — Description

Stamped steel and simple construction, the Light Infantry Rifle is a blowback, open-bolt battle rifle designed as an easy-to-use and operate firearm for use by both conscripts and allied insurgent forces.

A second variant of the rifle exists that further simplifies construction to the point where the firearm could be produced in the field by insurgents, even without access to more advanced equipment nor electricity.

Despite its widespread use by both official and militia forces, it is a widely hated firearm by its users thanks to its often all metal-construction which makes it a heavy firearm, and the recoil of the powerful 7.62 NATO or 308 Winchester focused directly into the shoulder of its often untrained users.

Many locally produced variants exist, some further simplifying the design by eliminating the ability to fire in semi-auto, some re-chamber the rifle with a more controllable cartridge such as .223 or 5.56 NATO.

It's been a while, hasn't it? Busy with life, also I felt that I shouldn't be making new things while I have a commission in the backlog. that said it took less than a day to make this so i think it should be fine.

Shame only the .308 Winchester rounds rendered well, the gun looks like plastic :C

That Colt 30x20 scope took too much time for how little of its details you can make out lol.

Based on the Low-Maintenance Rifle and the Sterling .308 prototype. Literally the NATO AK, in fact they're cheaper to build than an AK. Scope is the aforementioned Vietnam-era Colt 30x20, but the carrying handle is based on the FAMAS, rather than the M16/M4.

Now, to list the stats. Not that anyone ever reads, I still get questions pertaining to stats even if I put it directly on the image. Does anyone even read my descriptions? Should I even bother? It's like Sunday evening while I'm typing this, should I even post now, or wait till Friday?
