Holy, wondrously magnificent! This Enchanting Four-Winged Beast is stunning and The Forest looks incredible! The design, expression, pose, owl, wings, heads, beaks, tails, flames, feathers, smoke, haze, trees, flowers, plant life, scales, sky, gleam, boulders, branches, leaves, realisticness, perspective, interaction, flow, movement, atmosphere, hues, textures, concept, composition, uniqueness, lighting, colors, style, and other details are also spectacular! Hey I really, really like the design of the creature in this one. Someone else said it reminded them of a monster from dwarf fortress and they were dead on, there's something strangely biblical about the designs that game's random generator spits out and I think you've tapped into the same vein of primeval Β and frightening creature design. Also I like the interesting textural play of the snakeskin meeting the feathers and then sliding into the strangely smooth skin of the faces, the sense of heat coming out of those mouths and radiating from the creatures body into the ground is nicely conveyed as well.Β
Β If I had to offer one criticism( and I know you didn't ask for it but it just really stuck out to me) it's that the point of focus for the image is basically the middle of the creatures rightmost wing. My eyes are first grabbed by the leaf dangling from the small plant in the fore ground, then move to the sword in the middle, slide up the tree and then just kinda want to sit there on that wing. They flick up to see the monstrous faces and then down to look at the snaky body and the other wings but come back to rest on the wing. I'm of two minds about this, on the one hand there's this sense that I've just turned the corner in the woods and suddenly this creature is where it should not be and this creature isn't quite visible, I'm not square with it, it's faces are almost hidden by the tree and I don't think it has seen me yet and, oh man is it turning this way? Aaah run! On the other hand it kinda bugs me that due to the way this picture is laid out my eyes don't want to focus on the most interesting parts of it. Β Maybe it's just me, sorry to blather on, hope this is helpful in some way.

Some say it's a fallen angel, that it's three heads use to sing praises for it's master and that its scales and feathers reflected heavens light.
You ask how it came to blight this forest and annoyingly, you get different responses. Most of the stories tainted by some sort of morale:
Don't sing about your own glory, don't branch out into other professions, even the old classic of "don't covet your neighbors land."
Attempts to kill the beast have failed, repeatedly, but you're not interested in slaying it. You just want to figure out what it wants.
So you follow the beast from a safe distance, sometimes running ahead to warn others, or you track the beasts smoldering trail.
Someday you will understand this creature.Β

It's amazing!
But it somehow feels like shading is missing, or a strong spotlight shining on the beast.
If you want me to elaborate;
The sword is merged with the ground, like it has been part of it forever.
The claws look fearsome, yet seem to hold the trees gently.
The feathers look like they blanket the wing rather than grow out of it.
The entire scenes seems to be covered with ash, which might just be logical.
The lava/hot fluid creates no light - See how it affects a similar gray world (it has a gray cover above it too! Like the beast) - gallery.usgs.gov/images/07_29_β¦
The rocks feel like they lack substance, but it might be just covered in ash.
Don't get me wrong, I love it, it looks great, and I can't reach such a level.
I just think you can improve it, unless of course, this is the desired outcome.
Things I really like:
The beast design! Looks like a merger of a Naga, a dragon, a hydra and those Monnkin from warcraft, heh.
The way the heads seem to interact with the middle head, like it's the leader.
The beast holding the trees to roar as he enters the area.
The background looks great.
The trees are great!
