aww..cute, I have a ferret, his name is cappachino. OH ya you shouldnt pull him by his nape, he will think he did some thing bad. thats what my ferrets vet told me. anyway cute ferret!

Are you sure that is completly true? Because I was told that doing that does not hurt them, and it is pretty much just called "The Sleeper Hold". Because they immediatly yawn afterwards.
Because I usally do that with my ferret Lakota, when tripping her nails and other stuff. Because she squirms too much.

Well its doesnt harm them, but it is somthing that their mother usually does when they do somthing bad, along with making a high pitched yip sound. But hey Im not an expert so heh heh thats just what I was told, but dont worry I used to do that too to clip my ferrets nails, but now I use this stuff called ferretone, or somthing like that, he just licks it and I can do whatever I want. One track mind, lol.

Oh really? I like that, it's a good idea. Usually Lakota just yawns and waves her front paws up and down crazily. It's pretty cute.
And hey, don't worry, I am no expert either, but it's good to know for the furture!
