High time I got this updated.
Sorry it took so long. This should have been started and completed months ago. I think I've finally gotten the feel for how I'll draw these two in the future. Mission 1 was an experiment. An experiment gone horribly wrong.....Original app

It was about mid-day in Andalusst city, the sun was high in the sky, and there weren't too many clouds dotting the sky. An Absol walked down the market street with an Abra perched on his back with a list. "So, what'll we be picking up first?" The Absol asked.
"Let's see...well, first of all flour." The Abra said. "Then...yeast."

Another Abra with a blue cloak was a yard or so away from the pack mule and rider. She took slow, relaxed steps as she walked along the cobblestone path beneath her. This was the most relaxed she had been upon arriving in Andulusst two months ago. She had managed to clear her mind of all the anxious and negative thoughts that had been buzzing around her head recently. "Don't think, just walk," she reminded herself as she started thinking about what she and her partner were going to do about food. "It's like meditating, but you're moving," she finished.

"And after that?" Zar'roc asked his partner, looking back and not completely paying attention to where he was walking.
"Well, after that we have...oh, looks like Digi wrote cheese on the list." The Kaza said, reading the next item. He knew Digi's handwriting anywhere. It was large and looked more like scribbles than letters, but he was getting better. "After that, we have pencils."
"Running out so quickly?" Zar'roc asked with a small chuckle. "You'll have to let me read-" His sentence was cut short when the absol bumped into the blue cloaked abra. "Ah! Erm...pardon me." He said with a small, quick bow.

Shyra had let out a small "eep!" as the Disaster Pokemon bumped into her. She quickly turned to face him and bowed apologetically. "I-I do beg y-your pardon! I sh-should have been mindful of my, uh, surroundings." Staying in that position, she tilted her head so she could see his face rather than his paws. "I-I hope I, uh, caused no t-trouble."

"No ma'am, no trouble at all." Zar'roc said, trying to reassure her. He then realized she was an abra and grinned. He was quite...fond of abras. He gave her a small bow and smiled. "However, might I help you?"

She righted herself and smiled as one friend might to another. "Oh, uh, n-no. I was just out for a, uh, walk. My name is Shyra. Uh, m-might I ask of your's and your partner's?" She hadn't noticed the other Abra riding on the Absol's back until just before the question.

The Abra on his back gave a small gasp and ducked, clinging to his partners fur and seemed to try and make themselves as small as possible.
"Ahhh, my name is Zar'roc, and this is Kaza." The Absol said, introducing them with a bow. "At your service madam. Please don't mind Kaza, he's, ahhh...rather bashful."

"I-I see. It is nice to meet you both. I, too, am at your, uh, service, sir." Shyra dipped her head respectfully and beamed. "So, uh, what brings you two to the market? Sh-shopping I presume?"

"Yes actually, we're restocking our panty and our icebox. Best keep ontop of supplies after all." Zar'roc said. "How about yourself? You seemed quite focused on something."

"Oh, I was just focusing on, uh, keeping myself distracted." She then scratched the back of her head and added with an embarrassed grin, "I-It sounds like a bit of an oxymoron when I, uh, p-put it like that."

"Hmmmm, don't do too tell in crowds then, or perhaps there's something that you don't want to think about?" Zar'roc mused out loud. He understood what she was meaning, and could...relate to a degree. "There are some things we all don't want to think about beicause there isn't a lot we can do about it."

The Abra beamed, glad that at least somemon understood what she was talking about. "Precisely." And then a thought came to mind. "O-Oh! I could, uh, help you with your grocery sh-shopping! Kills, uh, two bird Pokemon with one stone, right?" she asked hopefully.

"Of course, we'd be delighted to have you with us." zar'roc said. "Shopping as well?"

The young psychic shook her head. "I personally am not shopping. I'd be delighted to help you, though!"

Zar'roc nodded. "Very well then, just out for a walk to clear your head in general then?"

"Yes. Th-that--uh, it's become a daily routine. Life is just s-so stressful at the moment." Shyra looked to Kaza. "You have the list, y-yes? What is it you're s-searching for?" she asked, evading the subject of her current life circumstances. It wasn't something she could ever get used to nor did she want to talk about it. Her heart constricted at the mere thought of it being any different from how she grew up. This is definitely not how she had planned her life in Andulusst to be. 'No use whining about it to all and sundry, though,' she thought bitterly.

The smaller abra on the Absol's back gave a small gasp as attention was drawn to him and ducked once more, his ears flattening against his head and holding out the list.
"Ahhh....yes, this is our current list." Zar'roc said, taking it from his partner. "Kaza is our resident chef. We have three other teams living with us at the moment, so we have to stock up, especially with an Arcanine living with us."

Her ears perked up with interest as the words "living with us" were spoken. 'Other Pokemon teams are living with them? I wonder if--No! No, you couldn't possibly intrude. Don't even think of it!' she scolded herself. "Yes, yes, large canines have a tendency to have rather large, uh, a-appetites." She fondly recalled that she had read this information in a book when she was little. She couldn't quite remember the book's title, however. Putting shy hand to her chin, she murmured "I, uh, have little money to offer in aid, b-but I'm more than willing to assist with, uh, muscle work, for lack of a better term."

"Oh, you don't need to help us with our purchases." Zar'roc said. "We all have our jobs when the guild doesn't have assignments for us. I work at a cafe for instance." He enjoyed speaking with her, but he wasn't too sure how much she actually wanted to hear. "Say....would you care to come over for dinner?"

"Oh, may I?" she gasped, unable to contain her relief and joy. "May I really? M-May I bring my partner, as well? H-He won't be any trouble at all, I-I promise!" At least they could have one decent meal this season. Shyra said a silent prayer of thanks to the psychic lords Mew and Mewtwo for the chance meeting that occurred leading to this moment.

"Why, of course you may." Zar'roc said. "We'd be delighted to have you over whenever you feel like it. I'm sure with more...frequent visits, even Kaza would grow more comfortable around you and whoever your partner may be."

Shyra let out a squeal as she could no longer contain her excitement and bowed. "Oh, thank you! Thank you! You have no idea how much this means to us! Thank you so much Mr. Zar'roc!"
(You're very good with architecture. I really like how it's designed. I'm sure they'd love to occupy the second story, if you don't have a problem with it. Any room will do. You can pick. ^u^)

Zar'roc was a bit surprised to see her quite this excited but reached over and patted her head. "It's no trouble, really. Perhaps the two of you would like to spend the night? It's been a while since we had such eager company."
(I don't really, and it's actually one of my friends who designed the house! Hopefully she'll come back when her life is less chaotic. As for rooms, any that are vacent are perfectly available. Some people are particular about location, but for starters, every room has a single bed (with sheets and a pillow), a dresser, a closet, a window, and wooden flooring. If anything else is required, they can add it to the list)

Flabbergasted, she straightened and looked at him through widely open eyes. Unable to manage her shock appropriately, she collapsed to her knees and kept her gaze on his. "You... Oh, Mr. Zar'roc, I--! You spoil this poor stranger. Your generosity knows no bounds. Thank you so much. Thank you." Joyful tears welled up in the corners of her eyes and she wiped them away with a small corner of her cloak. "I-I'm sorry... I don't mean to be this way." She sniffs and stands again. "Sh-Should we be going? I assume that your tenants would like dinner to be on time."
(Oh cool! I hope she finds some peace and relaxation soon. And for the room, they'd only need one other bed. Otherwise, that sounds perfect! Thanks much!)
