Wahoo! It's Boob-chan! My hubby wanted me to draw her open shirt and braless. XDThis is a present for Cause she is awesome and a sweetheart.
I tried something new with the background with varying degrees of success.

I knew it was her because lets face it you cant miss her with those loaded missles in front lol. But still overall I did think it matched her nicely...yeah I can see her selling some kind of bleach beer haha. 'Nagasaki Beer, there when you want a cold one after fighting many hollows and Espadas' lol sorry couldnt resist.

LoL well it would have worked really. I mean she does fit like the typical beer ad girl fine. I got an idea of her like holding the can upright as if showing it and behind like a hollow or some bad guy...one of the espadas or arankars lol and she hits them while holding the can XD. Still it was a good drawing anyway giving me lots to think about hehe.

Her neck seems a little bit long, and her right hand looks a bit off. There should be at least a little bit of separation where the ring finger and thumb meet. Other than that, it's perfect. Well done!

Whoa! You're totally right about the neck. When I changed the angle of her head, I should have corrected that. I didn't notice at all. lol! I think you are right about the hands too. Someday I will figure fingers out.
Glad you like the boobs. XD They were a challange to get that big and still make her torso look normal.

i'll add one thing - adding a core shadow to her boobs will make them stick out more and look 3d *like in the cycloniposa* rendering them like chiaroscuro spheres will really make them pop ^^
other than that it's a wonderful udder boob explosion! ^^

ooooo, that's a really good idea. I tend to favor more realistic shading over cell shading anyway. Boobies that pop out would be awesomely fun.

i'd say a cross between the two would work breast uh, i mean best... best dammit! cel shading with a bit of a soft gradient and a core shadow for volume 8}

Well, I applied for Aki Con. It's a small newbie con near here. I figured it would be a good place to try to test the waters. But I heard they sold out. It's pretty frustrating since you contact them via email but all the paper work and such is done via snail-mail. I dislike systems that are half electronic and half not. XD
You totally should! I bet you'll do better than you expect.

and when they DO change shit it's abruptly and no one knows wth is going on *this sem they changed directed study to online based and all profs have to enter grades in electronically at the last minute instead of on paper :/*

You know, your awesome and elaborate style would lend itself well to steam/cyber punk. That is a genre that is definantly going to be on the rise. Small cons are starting up all over for it. If you got some stuff into one of those you may be able to get a good feel for what sort of profits you could make.
Also, everything is better with goggles.

according to a classmate, everything is more terrifying with goggles. but then again he was referring to me... 
i think i walked myself into a trap though... i chose steam as a way to differentiate 2 groups of humans, the rada and magyar, the latter being a smaller, less developed place, so you get a victorian/steampunk contrast. they also both had to contrast with the riy who have computers made of glass and light *high magic/high tech* and can hardwire themselves into VR type nets.
i have to admit i didn't choose it out of complete fascination, though i do like the aesthetic and designing neat stuff with it... my problem is my DSA went to the hand crank regatta in santa rosa (where geeks go and build cars to race on rails... hardcore stuff) and he is much more into it - and the older storytelling that went into making it what it is today - MUCH more so than i am. T3T
SO i get this HUGE expectation and concern to see it handled really well. *he's a scootch of a comic snob if you know what i mean - 
i see comics as disposable consumable entertainment media and he's way on the other end of the spectrum, where comics can be considered art

XD I'm a bit on the far end too. I always see comics as these gorgeous combinations of storytelling and aweseome art. I've never seen why pop-culture can't be high art. Okay, maybe not high art, but it's not low either. Medium? Medium-well? Granted, I'm convinced that graffiti is awesome and will be in musuems displayed like stolen Pompei frescos in 80 yrs.
You may have walked yourself in to a bit of a trap, but it's an awesome trap. Steam punk is on the popularity rise and you may be able to cash in.

I agree. I like stories best when nothing in the setting takes over the story itself. It's the problem I have with CLAMP. The pretty overwhelms the plot.

YES, especially the new ones, XXXHolic and Tsubasa... i didn't like the art in Holic and Tsubasa was so saccharine i nearly died of fast onset diabetes! XD

I liked the art is Holic (maybe just for it's heavy use of black and other visual weirdness) but the story totally lost it's edge. I liked it when it was just this crazy guy who saw ghosts and would spaz out. Now it's all CLAMP repackaging yet another cliche.
