Couldn't help it. She's one of my favorite Dragon Ball Z characters. Well, her and Launch (who disappeared from any storylines after Dragon Ball /sadface).Also...I can't draw anime worth a damn. Seriously, I can't emulate anime styles very well at all. I went through a phase in high school where I attempted to be proficient in it...and yeah that never happened. XD
Note: the only reason I call it a 'phase' is because I literally couldn't do it. There's nothing wrong with anybody drawing anime. I just sucked at it, thus it was a 'phase' in context to my artwork alone. I have friends who can anime like total bosses! (Lookin' at you, FreakInkComics!)
So, haha I'm afraid if I make any further fan art for series that I enjoyed in the context of anime, you'll notice that I won't be able to emulate the styles. Sorry in advance, lol.

see I cant do realism... I can only do cartoony...So thats just a difference in style... it happens.. but I do get frusterated when I TRY To do a different style and it doesnt work... haha..
Also Launch...seriously what happened to her? She was one of my faves too.
Dont worry too much about exactly doing fanart styles... I cant do it either... I mean hell I draw the professor layton characters as cats... with fanart it doesnt really matter I suppose... its how you draw them.. your own style/vision of characters you like.. and anyone who is truly a fan of that series/book/what have you will accept it.
I personally think you did pretty awesome on her considering she is so...ANIME... and changing her to this style had to be hard.. ^^ Good job <3

That's very true. I don't think I'll ever really attempt actual anime again just 'cause I can't get the cartoon dimensions for it right but, I think if everybody is fine with me just using what I can do, I'll be good. :3
Aw, thanks Ittermat! I'm glad you like it, it was definitely interesting to put her dimensions together in a different art style verses trying to stick to her original look. I'll see if I can do it for other characters in future.

Its like how I wont attempt realistic humans ever again.. (though with a good reference I can do realistic animals pretty well!)

I agree! Even if she just randomly shows up again, she needs to return.
Funnily enough, with physical mediums it's easier for me to do realism in both animals and humans. I don't generally tend to show those though, because I don't have a scanner and most of them are just exercises anyway which, I don't tend to see as interesting to share hahah.

I try to keep my artistic abilities kept to both traditional and digital art. So I can use whatever tools available- whether its a computer... or just a pen and paper.. and I can still draw, learn, create no matter where I am...

Same here, I think maintaining digital and physical is important for growth in either direction. One supports the other and so on, which is actually pretty awesome if you think about it.

yup! Thats pretty much what I try to do , when I learn something in traditional art I try to incorporate it as digital art... and vice versa.
