this also charcoal? its good proportionally, the dark shading above the right arm licks at my face a bit, is it part of the background shade around the arm or just overshading on the arm itself?

yes, charcoal. hadnt finished the background yet so i looks over shaded, but it itll all work together nicely when its finished
