Description
...I really don't know where this picture came from. I was taking a break this week during me and my daughters sickness to draw some personal stuff. I just started sketching and it turned into something else.
This was SUPPOSED to be a speed painting, but I hate the way they look all sloppy and I just had to refine it a bit more and more and more, until this popped out. I managed somehow to paint the entire thing using one single brush. Ha! With the exception of the sky and her armor, all the same boring brush (with adjusted settings of course).
I don't care for any critique on this, please. I meant for the dragon to be lanky and skinny, her hair is weird looking, I know. Although, I am rather proud of the background. ^_^
Photoshop CS4, Wacom Intuos4 tablet 5 hours ish? I don't know...

@=sugarpoultry, I haveused your picture in the story I'm making called; The Curse of the Crimson Dragon. I'm sorry for not asking you first, however, I did give you full credit for the drawing, and I also posted a link to this page. I know I should have asked you to use it first, and regret not doing that now. So, I am terribly sorry, and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me. I think your artwork is amazing, and I hope you continue doing what you love.

I guess as long as you credit it it's okay. And you can't make any profit off my art, as long as your story is put up for free to read, that's fine. Thanks for being honest.

No problem, I just didn't want to get in trouble for "stealing" anyone's artwork.

Wonderful dragon sugar! I personally think that the dragon looks perfect lanky and the hair on the elf woman is just blowing in the wind. I think it looks really good.

I really like the way you designed the bridle and reins. Never seen it done that way before.

You should be proud of the background. It, and the rest of it, is simple, neat, and enjoyable. Not to mention a great chance for writers like me let my juices flow a little, see what it can turn the scene into.
It's good practice. Keeps me fresh and energized when in the midst of writer's block.
