The third chassis type Core has access to.Virtually identical to the more skeletal chassis, bubbles of synthex and a smart liquid rubber are strung across limbs, and fill holes, in order to fill out the form to more human-like proportions. Secondarily, this chassis can use the bubbles for quick patching and filling of existing and potential drones.

To be slightly more appealing while interacting with others. The skeleton chassis is simple and tough, but a bit pointy, and could be creepy or weird to interact with. SoftCore is more squishy, and moves towards more familiar proportions. He could wear pants without looking awkward.

i saw this and reminded me of a story that i've been meaning to write (ill probably never write it so i dont mind sharing), about a group of robots that is also constructed with liquid latex filled bladders for the same reasons here, but one day they go haywire and start attacking people, but every time someone tries to shoot them or hurt them they burst, spraying the latex everywhere and encasing people that way

If I can suggest some story ideas, you could always have it be a "malfunction" with some of the chassis in MIRAGE, and have it be sort of a half drill, half prank by CORE.
