What is the story here? Is she the governor's daughter, held until an important prisoner is released, or an acceptable verdict is reached in the trial of a crime boss?
Perhaps she is the prissy debutante next door, who is learning--all too late--that it's not wise to poke fun at the nerd living in his mom's basement (since mom disappeared into the walls of the house eleven years ago).
Or the perky News 9 reporter who arrogantly vowed to break up the local underground snuff film business, and will now star in its latest release (her co-star, a large German shepherd, will survive it).
Could be she's the rookie cop who, all by herself, discovered the identity of the Cannibal Slasher (her partner).
Then there's that beautiful globe-trotting double agent, playing one superpower against the other, who, right before disappearing from a Moscow party, bragged she was too valuable to be killed. She was wrong. She defiantly tells her interrogator she's a professional, that she'll die before breaking down and blubbering her secrets to him. She was right about the dying, it turns out, just wrong about the sequence.
