Kids on leashes... I can't stand them, but I have come to realize that they're useful, sometimes..___________

Although I never put her on a leash, sometimes I used my little sister's clothing to control her... lol... She had this pair of bib overalls (actually, she had about 20 pairs of the same kind), and the shoulder straps came to a "Y" on the back, which was a perfect handle for me to grab if she was getting into something she wasn't supposed to do, or about to step into traffic... I even picked her up by them! She was a rowdy one, but never needed a real "leash", just a close eye.
Great job, Scott, I the "Dog-Boy" Series!

thanks so much!
I saw a guy literally dragging his son across the ground today.. the boy was throwing a tantrum on the smooth tile of the mall, but that doesnt make it any better

Haha I completely agree, to walk your own kid seems very demeaning. I did see a parent once with a leash type thing attached to their wrist, and then other was attached to their kid's wrist. It didn't seem near as bad as a harness.

I love this picture for the funny factor. I have three kids. I have one of those monkey leashes but I use it not as a leash but because the monkey is a back pack and makes my daughter feel like she is a big girl. She keeps telling me to put on the leash because the monkey needs a tail. I should get a picture of her with it on... it looks like she is walking herself. I wonder what that says about her independent nature
There are times though when my three children (12, 15 and 3 years) are acting like animals that I wish that I could stake them all out in the yard for a bit Instead I tend to leave them all in their father's charge... the leash might be a better option for getting good behavior, but it certainly does not give me the fun factor that watching dad juggle the three of them does

I love it when parents pull on the leashes too... Get over here! The only plus is that you don't choke the kid like you would a dog, you just knock him on his ass

Oh, great, now maybe I'll finally get someone to get him pay attention on my street photos
It doesn't have to be DD suggestion though, few comments from him on my photos (and what I could do better) would be enough

Ask him for a critique, if he has time.
Tell him how much his work has inspired you and that you would like to know what he sees from it so far, and what you could do better

OK, I'll just wait until I submit some more street pictures, then I'll go and ask him
