...no makeup needed.I did a Sailor Moon redesign awhile ago and decided to tackle it again with a different costume. I bet you can't tell what inspired this one.

I think I prefer this to the revised version you did - the balance between the different colours is great and the sleeker helmet design plays nicely off the simple 'v' shape of her tiara, though I can appreciate that it possibly looks a bit more Kamen Rider than Super Sentai.
It's a really sweet, sleek streamlined design that captures both franchises nicely and rolls them up into a single package - in the name of the Moon, this is awesome!
Are you thinking of applying the same treatment to the other Scouts, because that would look great - loads of material to draw upon from the various Sentai shows

There's certain things I do like about this version, over the newer rendition; that helmet being one of them. I thought about just drawing this version of the outfit again...possibly with more of that Kamen Rider vibe. Since completing this, the idea of doing Kamen Rider versions has been on my to-do list. I can never say no to a crossover of any kind!

I have thought about applying this to the other scouts...I've even created some pieces that feature the scouts before their epic transformations. I want to do these again too because it's just the way I am, I guess. It's the need to do and redo...always room for improvement.

And no need to thank me for the feedback. I know full well for myself how welcome constructive feedback (or sometimes, any feedback) can be - to have poured effort and energy into something for it to then just sit there and seemingly garner no attention is a miserable feeling.
It would be really amazing to see this applied to the other scouts, as you say - and thanks for those links. At first I'm ashamed to say that I didn't recognise Ami, much as she is my favourite of the senshi/scouts (I think because the lighting made her hair look more green than blue). Lita/Makoto however looks simply stunning and recognisable at a glance, ready to break out an old-style beatdown on those wannabe putties!
Hrm, now there's an interesting idea - fusing Queen Beryl with Rita Repulsa/Witch Bandora

Wow I like this a bit of more of a fusion of two different takes on what a Sentai character is. I like this and would love to see the rest of the Scouts in PR like Sentai outfits.

Oh, there will be more! I have a series of sketches in the works that feature each scout in a Putty encounter of some sort, like the "before the PR transformation" stuff. Then, I'll have another series of illustrations of each one in their own PR/SM suits fighting said putties.
