Once upon a time there was a dear little girl who was loved by everyone who looked at her, but most of all by her grandmother, and there was nothing that she would not have given to the child. Once she gave her a little riding hood of red velvet, which suited her so well that she would never wear anything else; so she was always called Little Red Riding Hood.

Only because an evil wolf walked around the gloomy forest where her grandmother lived, she gave her a muzzle-loader as well. Little Red Riding Hood became so fond of her new gun that she never left home without it anymore. Many men would have loved to marry Little Red Riding Hood because of her beauty and her virtue but everyone willing just looked into the barrel of her gun. Since there is no more brave menfolk anymore, Little Red Riding Hood is still taking the wine alone to her grandmother, hoping to finally meet the wicked wolf one day.
