I only got three days to make this (in which I got two severe headaches, my monitor broke, and my internet connection died), so don't expect my best work here.
In this one I tried to combine a more humorous style with a more serious message. Yes, I know this isn't the original meaning of the song, but this is my own take on it.

And, consequently, that means I have no idea what to say!
So I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for introducing me to Switchfoot so many months ago. Man, that means a lot to me! Your animation paired with such a beautiful song moved me more than I can express.
Thanks. Without your animation, there would be no favorite band for me. Without Switchfoot, there would be not Relient K or Ruth in my life to keep my chin up or strengthen my faith. Without them, I wouldn't be what I am now. That probably sounds overdone, huh? Well I have their albums from 'Legend of Chin' to 'Oh! Gravity.' now. You've really done something here. I knew nothing of them until I saw this.
You know what? I sang my heart out with them in November. I went to see them for the first time...because I'd first seen this.
You've changed me, or rather, you've dared me to move. I'm so grateful to you. Thanks again.

It's really neat to see what this simple cartoon I made in a few days for a graduating class party has done.
Switchfoot is such a great band. I went to see them at Creation Music Festival in July, and I really noticed something about them. They were really the only ones giving up their music to God. I like Skillet and Relient K, but they disappointed me in this area. Both bands spent their time before and after songs talking about themselves. Switchfoot was really the only band that actually gave their time there as "A Tribute to God" (the tagline of the festival).
They're great guys and the fame hasn't taken away their focus on what really matters, as can be seen in their latest albums.
Anyway, hope you keep "moving".

darn that my computer has no sound card, but I got enough to understand the concepts of it, endhanced by the fact that I sung the brilliant songs along with it. (switchfoot is one of my favourite bands). I'm doing a primary education course at uni, you never realise how much of a responsibility that is. I'm going to be a social just change agent person. my chance to move and make a difference in the world, like this guy did.

I wasn't really complaining. I was... yeah, I guess I was complaining.
Nah, I know it doesn't deserve best of the month.
As for the cartoony bodies, I wanted to do something a little more serious looking, but I only had three days.
Besides, I kinda liked the look. Each movie I try to do a new style, rather than stick with one thing, as with animators like Legendary Frog and the Super Flash Brothers.

And yeah, they did expect it in three days. Which kinda sucked considering it wasn't even a money projet. They just asked me to make something for the senior graduation and gave me three days. Heh, needless to say I won't be doing any jobs like that again.

Didn't move me at all, however, it did make me laugh (out loud).. Maybe I just have a weird sense of humor, but it just looked so funny when he gave food to the poor ones and coke to the bad guys

i do wanna know what the heck the bible had to do with anything. that was the only weird part. b/c it sorta implied that when your sad jesus will make you better, or if you accept christainity it'll make you a better person/ helper. when in fact the character was a good person before that. What does religion have to do with it?
but i love your animation any ways. i hope it gets a DD, more people need to see this.

The Bible was there to represent his changing his life and accepting Christ, which was a very important part of my life.
