Ahti II — Description
I was supposed to do my homework but I made this instead, ha. Remember Mermaid Prince ? This is him now! His name is Prince Ahti II (Prinssi Ahti II) and he's sort of the grandson of the fish and sea god Ahti and the heir to the throne of the Baltic Sea Kingdom. Whoops! Wonder where that development came from... Although he's a royal of a water kingdom, he's currently residing in inland Finland living the life of an average human, trying to learn how normal people live and what problems occur to them in everyday life. Though the kingdom most likely has a parliament in the contemporary age, we don't want any out of touch leaders! Not that the guy wouldn't be awful: he's very polite-mannered and wants to take everyone into consideration. He just needs a little.. focus. Focus and understanding of how real world issues work, the boy is but a teen still!

Though the existence of the underwater kingdom(s) and merpeople overall isn't a secret, Ahti II being a royal one is - hence why he doesn't reveal his true form very often. It's much easier to recognise someone when their most noticeable feature is the massive pike tail! Ahti II has no trouble hiding his true form fortunately, because you know what? I'm really tired of mermaids transforming into their fish-tailed forms when they get splashed with even the tiniest bit of water. What's the use in that? No no no - Ahti II here is a classy man! He uses a good old spell to transform, doesn't everyone? How barbaric...

This was partly an attempt at adding texture without adding any shading. It was fun! I'll have to draw more merpeople and fish in the future.
