first D|S render... lol... the other image was a P5 render and this one man took longer than the other... still tryin to figure out what the deal is with the lights in this program... lol... but dont think i did too bad on this one... spent bout 4 hrs just tryin to get them to look decent...anyhow this is the other texture i made for the lily dress... man i love the fans for the outfit and well the outfit all around... now i just need Da Qiao or Xiao Qiao hair from Dynasty Warriors 4 i used to play and i got my fav characters from that game... bad ass bitches with fans... lol... man i really wanna play that now... damn i wish i still had that game... lol...

yep it is my first D|S render well i did many variations to this one but didnt save em... b/c of the lighting... LOL... and yeah please send some tips on the lights... b/c tryin to make the shadows softer was a pain in the arse... lol... thankies....

I never leave without my faithful "ring of x-ray vision"!!! It's excellent for leading negotiations... erm... with dark elven mistresses... uhhh.... mostly... er...
I'll drop some notes this evening when i have access to DS again, in the meanwhile... IIRC most lights have a "shadows softness" parameter in the parameter's tab - lowering this should help a lot to start with - i'll send you a link to a script to activate "shader lights" that allow much more controls upon light settings, including shadow trasparency and light decay over distance - i just have to fetch it....

I think your lighting turned out great! That was one of the things I couldn't figure out in DS too. Everything I rendered had these huge black shadows on 'em from the lights. Poser and I get along much, much better! heh! You did great on this, hon'... can't wait to see what you do next!

thankies muchies... think reason cant figure it out is b/c the way D|S names things and the way it does the values... not used to the percentage stuff... lol... and i noticed that it seems on some things the values are flipped... instead of setting it to 0% to get rid of somethin ya gotta set it to 100%... weird... as for having black shadows i had that problem too and couldnt figure out what it was... lol... then i changed the shadow thingy from raytraced to none and wow i got the softer shadow... lol... i know theres gotta be a proper way of doin that... i have no idea of what ill do next... well i do but i need to find Da or Xiao Qaio's hair type... LOL...
