I'm still trying to refine this style. I have a long way to go, but practice makes mastery, or so they say.This time it's Morrigan, from Dragon Age. In my mind, this is totally her signature move. Also, fun fact: on my first playthrough I gave her the warrior mage specialization, so I had her running around in full plate armor. It was fun, but she got really annoying with the auto-equipping a sword and throwing herself to die at enemies. That was not fun.

Personally, I think special effects always look better when their surroundings show impact (e.g., lighting reflection), so I like how you did the special effects of the staff and on the character.
