Sometimes, when dealing with materials like Plasti-dip or paints that are oil-based, enamels for painting models, and similar materials, it can be near impossible to clean or remove that from brushes. Often, because sometime it's just easier, disposable brushes are your best bet. However, even in those cases, the brushes can get gummed up or not leave a clean finish on the piece. Using some sort of paint thinner - Acetone, Xylene, or Turpenoid can be used to remove that material from the brush. In this particular image, I'm using acetone to clean Plasti-dip from the brush and wiping it off on the paper. I freely admit, I didn't intend to use such a nice brush, but my chip brushes were missing. I didn't really want to throw the brush away, so I figured I'd try cleaning it with whatever was handy. Thankfully, this worked. Since my brush was getting gummed up anyway, so it was a great thing to discover.
