Description
First, I must apologize for the length of this thing. I had to split it into 2 parts 'cus it was too long. I wrote this a while ago, I just hadn't posted 'cus there aren't a lot of pics at first, and then there's a big clump where I talk about hair. ;/ I figure it's okay though, 'cus that's the hardest part. (Some of it may be a little confusing. I didn't re-read all of it.)Let it be known, this is a slightly bigger sculpture than most of mine. I wanted it to be easy enough to see.

I believe the package says to bake at 275 degrees - 15 minutes for each ΒΌ inch of clay thickness. Keeping the figure in for way too long CAN cause it to burn. (I know 'cus I accidentally left the oven on one time when I left the house. I had an appointment and forgot about it. The house didn't burn down, but my clay was quite toasty.) However, as long as you don't exceed the recommended temperature, I find you can bake it as many times as you want without burning. In some cases I think it makes the figure stronger. So feel free to bake, add more detail, and re-bake! ;D Just remember to let it cool in between 'cus they clay gets very hot.

I love how you did the hair ^ ^ did you use sculpey for the skin ?

As I mentioned in part 1 of the tut, I used Super Sculpey for the skin 'cus it's a tad more translucent, giving it a better color.
I plan to do more tutorials if my daughter ever gets out of the hospital. @_@

yay, this one has pictures! have you done any clay figures but with a wire frame?

I have, but I never really finished him and never did a tutorial of it. (I should go back and do that.) I think I saved some tutorials other people did though. I could dig them up if you like.

I have a lot of other tuts saved somewhere, but I'm too tired to dig them up right now. (I do have a few for smaller scale sculptures, but wire frames aren't generally used for small things.)
