Description
Edinburgh Castle sits atop the summit of Castle Rock which is 120 metres above sea level. Rocky cliffs surround the castle to the south, west and north, rearing up to 80 metres from the surrounding landscape.Shot taken from Kingβs Stable Road looking up the rock face.

You were here before me. I moved this end of the world in 1978 and have never regretted it.
You have probably visited the inside of the Castle which is something I still have to do.

Yes..my Grandmother was from Glasgow, and my Grandfather, Edinburgh....I remember they had interesting discussions

She was an incredible human being, ruled the roost and lived a very long and happy and healthy life to 103 years...had a wee sip of Scotch every night with her water.

That is what I like to hear and is something to aim for.
My ambition is to get as many years out of my pension as I had to put in to get it, therefore I have to live to 102, and I can live with that
